The Disgusting News Media

Thomas Jefferson believed the value of the Press was to watch and criticize the government. Today we have a Press and Government that work together to keep the public stupid of that they are doing. It is not what the Press reports that bothers me but what they do not report.

Before getting into the great crimes of the Press, I have to say that it is not entirely their fault. The American people are also at fault. At least 60% of the American people are deliberately stupid. Stupid is a harsh word, but it means lack of common sense or lack of knowledge that they should know. I remember Fox News doing a survey of people in the street on the Forth of July, Independence Day. They asked at least 10 people a simple question, “What country did we declare independence from?”

Not one of these people knew the answer. My own investigation of my friends and people of my town show that most people do not watch the news, do not care, do not know what made this country the greatest in the history of the world, could not name a founding father, do not know the constitution, and do not even know that we are a Republic and not a Democracy.

Stupid does not mean a low IQ, it means a lack of desire to know anything.

I watch news to prepare myself for any problems that might come up in the future so that I can be well prepared for them. Even this is a problem for me because I have to fight for the true news. I don’t get it on TV and the only way I know this is because I also go to radio and the Internet. On the Internet I go to the news of several countries. If you actually watch the news (most do not) and you only go to TV you have no idea what you are not learning.

Liberal News Media Confession

There was a rather low-key confession made in the New York Times last week that deserves to be blared throughout this country so that every American understands what they are reading in the establishment’s ultra-controlled, government-managed “press” – and I use that last word loosely indeed.

The admission came in the form of a story by Jeremy Peters on the politics page of the Times July 16.

It shows that most – not some – members of the print media establishment with access to the White House submit their copy to government officials for review, “correction” and approval before it reaches the American people!

Here are some key excerpts from the piece, if you think I’m exaggerating:

· “The quotations come back redacted, stripped of colorful metaphors, colloquial language and anything even mildly provocative.”

· “They are sent by e-mail from the Obama headquarters in Chicago to reporters who have interviewed campaign officials under one major condition: the press office has veto power over what statements can be quoted and attributed by name.”

· “Most reporters, desperate to pick the brains of the president’s top strategists, grudgingly agree. After the interviews, they review their notes, check their tape recorders and send in the juiciest sound bites for review. The verdict from the campaign – an operation that prides itself on staying consistently on script – is often no, Barack Obama does not approve this message.”

· “Now, with a millisecond Twitter news cycle and an unforgiving, gaffe-obsessed media culture, politicians and their advisers are routinely demanding that reporters allow them final editing power over any published quotations.”

· “Quote approval is standard practice for the Obama campaign, used by many top strategists and almost all mid-level aides in Chicago and at the White House – almost anyone other than spokesmen who are paid to be quoted. (And sometimes it applies even to them.) It is also commonplace throughout Washington and on the campaign trail.”

· “Many journalists spoke about the editing only if granted anonymity, an irony that did not escape them.”

· “From Capitol Hill to the Treasury Department, interviews granted only with quote approval have become the default position. Those officials who dare to speak out of school, but fearful of making the slightest off-message remark, shroud even the most innocuous and anodyne quotations in anonymity by insisting they be referred to as a ‘top Democrat’ or a ‘Republican strategist.’”

· “Those [reporters] who did speak on the record said the restrictions seem only to be growing. ‘It’s not something I’m particularly proud of because there’s a part of me that says, Don’t do it, don’t agree to their terms,’ said Major Garrett, a correspondent for The National Journal.”

· “It was difficult to find a news outlet that had not agreed to quote approval, albeit reluctantly. Organizations like Bloomberg, The Washington Post, Vanity Fair, Reuters and The New York Times have all consented to interviews under such terms.”

What bothers me the most is what TV News does not report. Most people wonder why the news media refused to report on Obama’s background with radicals and the fact that his father was on a terrorist list, but when history was made a month ago and most News Media was silent I went ballistic.

Catholic’s Sue Federal Government

Fifty Two Catholic and One Protestant Organizations sued the Federal Government for religious freedom of religion. Considering that the greatest reason for our independence from England was freedom of religion. This is the most important law suit again government in our history, this is a big story. This silence is unforgiveable. Every Catholic parish read out loud and passed out the lawsuit against the government the following Sunday. This means millions of Catholics learned about it even though they could not find the news on TV.

Fourteen Days of Catholic Liberty Protest

The following week the Catholic Church announced 14 days of civil disobedience up to the 4^th of July and each day had a lesson in religious freedom. My parish held this lessons each day and talked about them long into the night. And even on this not one TV reported on it.

Fortnight for Freedom

The fourteen days from June 21—the vigil of the Feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More—to July 4, Independence Day, were dedicated to this “fortnight for freedom”—a great hymn of prayer for our country. Dioceses and parishes around the country scheduled special events that support a great national campaign of teaching and witness for religious liberty. Our liturgical calendar celebrates a series of great martyrs who remained faithful in the face of persecution by political power—St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More, St. John the Baptist, SS. Peter and Paul, and the First Martyrs of the Church of Rome. Through prayer, study, catechesis, and peaceful public action during the Fortnight for Freedom, we hoped to remind ourselves and others all throughout the United States about the importance of preserving the fundamental right of religious freedom.

Obama’s background

It is the job of the news media to investigate for us so that we make good election decisions but not one of them investigated Obama’s past and his entire education from his father to his communist mentor, to his college. For example he applied for and got a scholarship as a Foreign Student. No one has seen is grades or his diploma. No one has reported that his law license has been taken away and we don’t know why. The internet has reported over and over that his so called birth certificate is a forgery and prove it but the major news media just make fun of us calling us radial birthers. In fact even the forgery if it was real does not prove he was born in America because it is a Certificate of Birth, which is not a birth certificate. It just means we have seen the child and don’t know where his was born but we certify that he was born. This is how you get a document of birth if you were born at home or in a taxi.

None of that is so important as the details of the Constitution of requirement to be a president. It says you and your father and mother must have been born in America and even his so called CofB says his father was born in Africa.

Obama’s Untruths

The biggest untruth coming from Obama and Democratic Party is that they inherited the failed Bush Economic System and that Republicans want to repeat it. If the news media was honest they would show that in spite of 9-11 we had virtually full imployment for seven years and ten months under Bush and a high GDP. Only in the last month of his presidency was a major crash of the system that has nothing to do with Bush but because of Fanny May and Freddy Mack and the Democrats who wanted people to own houses they could not afford. In fact Bush tried to stop this program. In the end instead of putting the blame where it belongs they put it on the tax cuts. In fact they blame the Debt on the Tax Cuts but the Debt did not go this high during the Bush eight years in spite of two unpaid wars. But the news media repeats this lie over and over.

Taxing Millionaires

Now the Democrats say they would let us fall over the Fiscal Cliff rather than extend the Bush Tax Cuts for millionaires and site that it is the major problem for the debt. They say that by taxing the millionaires we could reduce the Debt but Trillions over ten years. Let us see if that is true. When Reagan reduced taxes on millionaires the government received more revenue in taxes. When Clinton did the same thing the same thing happened.

However, if they were to tax the millionaires they will get less taxes for many reasons, the first is that GDP will drop and it is from GDP that all taxes come from. But more important than that is the tax code. The two nations which are closest to ours regarding the constitution, rule of law and economic systems are Germany and Singapore. Germany’s tax code is 500 pages long, Singapore is lass than 50. Do you know how many pages ours is? It is 27,000 pages.

Now, why is it so long? Most of this is tax dodges for millionaires, who gave heavily to congressmen to get these dodges. According to history this was 80% to Democrats. Let me predict this, what we get from these people now, which is 70% of government revenue will deduce radically and may go away all together. Do you know that Apple pays less taxes than almost anyone when compared to their income and sometimes GE pays nothing. I will bet you do not know that the world wide billionaires and millionaires have Twenty Seven Trillion Dollars in off shore tax free accounts. They find ways. You want to stop this then change the tax code to something everyone can read and make us the envy of the world for business.

We can’t make it without Government?????

Recently Obama told job creators they could not have made it without Governments help. The easiest way to show the fault of this is history. Let us just look back at the original 13 colonies that existed for about 200 years before there was a Federal Government. They were extremely prosperous and almost no poverty. They built schools in every city. They built great Universities, had hospitals and law enforcement by the people. Because of the outside invasion of England on their freedom they decided to have a central government for one and only one reason, to protect themselves from England. It was to have a Federal Army and no other reason and that is why the entire constitution limits Federal Power. Even today I cannot think of anything the people, States, or cities cannot do better or cheaper than the Feds except the Military.

Eric Holder and Voter Fraud

I believe that Eric Holder is telling liberal community organizers that he will not prosecute any voter fraud in the 2010 elections. These community organizers (Obama s expertise) know they will not be prosecuted and are working hard to but together manpower, money and plans to steal the next election. They know they will not be prosecuted.

Even with massive conservative votes the taking of the House and Senate will be very, very close and any voter fraud could be major.

That is a drastic claim on my part. Let us look at how I come to this conclusion.

The new head of the CIA was the first appointment of Barak Obama, and within 12 days of his Presidency, his second appointment was Eric Holder as Attorney General of the Department of Justice which many think is the top law enforcement officer of the Nation. Since the FBI is under the DOJ, the two appointments are the two people in charge of Justice in the Federal Government and the only two who can investigate the Federal Government itself.

I am now realizing why these two appointments were the first two things he did in his first 12 days. With the Interstate Commerce Act of 1887, the DOJ took on some law enforcement responsibilities. His authority does not counter the authority of the states, except in interstate commerce laws. However, in practice the DOJ has been considered the top law enforcer of the land.

Within days of the election massive voter fraud was presented to the DOJ but Eric Holder refused to investigate any of them.

When you consider that most likely Hilary Clinton won the primary against BO, and that Al Franken did not win the Senate Seat, and the Black Panthers not being prosecuted, and the Indianapolis/Marion County large numbers of ineligible voters who have died, moved away or are registered more than once in an active ACORN area but DOJ refuses to even investigate, and the Motor Voter fraud case, where ATG Julie Fernandes, said in front of a large group of Voting Section employees,

We have no interest in enforcing this provision of the law. It has nothing to do with increasing turnout, and we are just not going to do it.

What would you think?

Consider BO supporters in Nashville who were caught stealing registration forms, SS Numbers, and names and addresses, and the DOJ refused to even look into it.

Consider the sHare Scan voting machines which produce massive voter fraud and the DOJ refuses to investigate it.

Consider that up to six states already have said they will pass a law that demands that their ELECTORIAL COLLEGE will be required to vote for the candidate that gets the national majority vote, and this violates the constitution but will most likely not be investigated or challenged. This would give four states the power to elect the President.

When you consider what they refuse to investigate and/or refuse to prosecute, do you not see that they are telling those who violate voter laws that they will not prosecute them?

Add to that that the DOJ has filed a law suit again Arizona in order to have 14,000,000 Illegal Aliens available for voter fraud, and you gat a clear picture.

This election will be close because there are so many seats that can change but whoever wins the majority it will be by only one or two seats. Fraud in one state can change everything.

The Great Oil Spill

It is easy to BP for the massive oil spill and you can be right. But where was the Federal Government who had inspectors who had to sign off on every peace of equipment that went into the drilling system including the back flow preventer that was flawed. In fact the inspector signed off on it and had never seen it. If I was President that inspector would live on that oil rig instead of once a month. What was he doing the rest of the time. Have you heard this on the news media.

The Truth about Europe

The News Media is blaming Austerity on Greece and Spain on being it a massive depression. The truth is that both Greece and Spain promised to cut spending but they did not. Instead they rose taxes and businesses started shedding jobs and in some case closing up and leaving the country for more tax friendly nations. Many retired millionaires have also left and many others have transferred their bank accounts to England or Germany. Even the poorer people are pulling their money out of banks and keeping their money at home. Both countries have a negative GDP and unemployment over 25%. I know personally a great deal about Portugal where two out of three small shops are closed and those open will not hire workers even if they need them because laws make it impossible. There are no young people because they are all moving to Brazil. If you figure out the math Europe cannot survive unless the north separates from the south.

Glass-Stiegel vs. Dodd-Frank

The best thing that happened to the banking system was Glass-Stiegel which we did away with. The worst thing that happened to the banking system was Dodd-Frank which is running small banks and making the big ones bigger.

Seals Special Forces Web Site

Special Forces opens web site to accuse President Obama of treason and putting our people in harms way by exposing methods of operation. Isn’t that news? Have you heard it.

It seems the biggest threat to the American tradition of a free and independent press is not government coercion. It’s the willing submission of the press to being handled and managed by government and politicians.

Global Warming

The essence of Global Warming is the world wide increase in CO2 but is that true? If the news media would just read charts of historic CO2 and not just partial charts they would see that there was more CO2 in the world in 1900 than now and that was before the mass explosions of gas cars. Do you know that Environmentalist say that Solar and Wind are worse for the environment than gas.

Health Care Bill – Obama care

Here is proof that no one in the news media has read Obamacare’s 2700 pages.

Dhimmitude -- What does it mean? It is in the health care bill. Dhimmitude is on page 107 of the healthcare bill. Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States . Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be "gambling", "risk-taking", and "usury" and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, as a Christian, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets, including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance.

Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

United Nations proposes Hand Gun Ban

The United Nations has proposed a world wide ban on hand guns and Obama plans to sign it but no News media has reported on it. In fact this is the reason gun sales have been up 40% over the past two years in America.

The End of America

No one in the media is reporting how dangerous our Debts are. Note that I said debts and not debt. The Federal Debt as it is now is not sustainable and is getting worse. When other countries are no longer willing to come to our aid because they no longer consider us a safe heaven then Federal Bankruptcy could happen quickly. (China, Russia and India are meeting now to work on this.) In fact if the interest on our debt went up 1% it would add hundreds of billions in payments. When you add Student loan debts, Fanny-Freddy debts, the feds owe 300% of GDP. However, we also owe Trillions of Dollars in State and City debts that cannot as of now be paid. We may have one state and 30 or 40 cities that go bankrupt before the end of the year. Then more in 2013! This should be the number one story in the news.
