CHAPTER THIRTY

The Story Explained

Let me repeat again. The story you have just read is a FICTION STORY, since it is about the future. I will let you be the judge as to how fiction it is. My personal opinion is that very little of the future will happen like this story. Nevertheless, (I love that word because now you know that I do not take this story lightly), nevertheless, this story was not just made up in my head. It was taken almost exclusively from Bible and private prophesy.

Some accept only that prophesy that comes from the Bible, and to those I will demonstrate that most of this story does come from Bible prophesy.

There are many books about the future quoting prophesy and I do not agree with any of them. I, personally, have in front of me all the major books regarding the future and interpretation of prophesy. The object of this book is to show how and why they are almost all wrong.

First I would like to offer an example of private prophesy to explain why I place importance on prophets who have written since the Bible but do not contradict the Bible. If anyone thinks that all prophesy stopped with the Bible, I offer you this example first.

This prophesy was made before 1551 AD. Keep in mind as you read this that in 1551 there were no cars, no telephones, no submarines, no airplanes, no iron ships, and no America. (The parentheses are my added comments.)

"Then woe is me -- for London shall be destroyed forever after, and then York shall be London and the Kingdom governed by three Lords appointed by a ROYAL GREAT MONARCH (Philip?) of the best blood in the world, who will set England aright and drive out heresy, and after this shall be a white harvest of corn gotten in by woman. (Few men left?)

“Carriages without horses shall go. And accidents fill the world with woe. (Cars) Around the earth thoughts shall fly in the twinkling of an eye. (Telephones)

“The world upside down shall be, and gold be found at the foot of a tree. (New World) Through hills man shall ride and no horse be at his side. (Trains) Under water men shall walk, shall ride, shall sleep, and shall talk. (Submarines) In the air men shall be seen in white, in black, in green. (Airplanes) Iron in the water shall float as easily as a wooden boat. (Iron ships) Gold shall be found and shown in a land that's not now known. (America) Fire and water shall wonders do. (Factories and Hydo-electric)

“England shall at last admit a foe. (Democracy) All England's sons that plow the land shall oft be seen with book in hand. (Education) The poor shall then most learning know, and water wind where corn doth grow.

“Great houses stand in far flung vale. (Kings lose power) All covered o'er with snow and hail. Taxes for blood and war shall come to every door.

“And state and state in fierce strife will seek after each other's like. But when the North shall divide the South, an Eagle shall build in the Lion's mouth. (America) In London Primrose Hill shall be. Its center hold a Bishop's See. (Catholics legalized)

“Three times shall lovely France be let to playa bloody dance. Before the people shall be free, three tyrant rulers shall she see. Three times the people's hope is gone. Three rulers, in succession, shall be. Each sprung from different dynasty. (Three world wars) Then, when the fiercest fight is done, England and France shall be as one.

“The British olive next shall twine in marriage with the German vine. (Philip?) England shall at last admit a Jew, the Jew that once was held in scorn shall of a Christian then be born.

“A house of glass shall come to pass in England -- but alas, alas' (Open to Moslem Immigrants) a war will follow with the work where dwells the Pagan and the Turk. (Moslems in England)

As you can see, this prophet saw a great deal of the future, at a time when no one could have imagined subs, airplanes, cars, telephones, trains, and a new country - America. The readers of this prophesy had no idea what this person was talking about until it came to pass. Most probably they thought he or she was crazy. Walking, talking under the sea must have sounded ridiculous. I did not use this prophesy in my story, but it does give a good example of the power of private prophesy outside the Bible.

America comes up in another prophesy from way hack in 1179 AD. It comes from St. Hildegard. (The parentheses are my added comments.)

"Before the Comet comes, many nations, the good excepted, will be scoured with want and famine. THE GREAT NATION IN THE OCEAN THAT IS INHABITED BY PEOPLE OF DIFFERENT TRIBES AND DESCENT by an earthquake, storm, and tidal waves will he devastated. It will be divided, and in great part he submerged. (In all of history only America fits this description and this was written before Christopher Columbus.)

“That nation will also have many misfortunes at sea, and lose its colonies in the East through a Tiger and a Lion. (Two other nations) The comet, by its tremendous pressure, will force much out of the ocean and flood many countries, causing much want and many plagues. All seacoast cities will he fearful, and many of them will he destroyed by tidal waves, and most living creatures will he killed, and even those who escape will die from a horrible disease, FOR IN NONE OF THOSE CITIES DOES A PERSON LIVE ACCORDING TO THE LAWS OF GOD.

"Peace will return to Europe when the white flower (Habsburg Coat of Arms) AGAIN takes possession of the throne of France. During this time of peace the people will be forbidden to carry weapons, and iron will be used only for making agricultural implements and tools. Also during this period the soil will be very productive, and many Jews, heathens, and heretics will join the Church."

Not too pleasant a picture painted for America, is it? I use these examples because they are so indisputable regarding America, at a time when it was impossible to know anything about a New World. As far as America goes, I might disregard them, since we Americans have been the most charitable nation in history towards our fellow man, and this devastation by God might seem unfair. But there are too many other prophesies just like them.

Let's look a little deeper into ourselves. God sees the entire world at once. He sees the starving people in Africa, the poor in the Philippines, the cold in Siberia, the fighting in Afghanistan, and the imprisoned in Russia. At the same time that He sees all this, He sees our petty problems. At the same time that He sees all this, He listens to our petty prayers.

We are the richest people in the history of the world. Our idea of sacrifice is NOT buying a new car. We are so selfish we kill our babies so that we can have a new house or car. We see more psychiatrists than any country in the world. We have more homosexuals than any country in the world. We kill more babies than any country in the world. In fact, SEX is our biggest killer, bigger than all our wars put together.

We are, and few will agree with me on this, less religious than other countries in the world. I won't try to explain that except to say that I have personally known television preachers and very famous priests in America. But to find holiness I had to go overseas. Americans believe in part, give in part, love in part. Never do they give one hundred percent. Anyway, let's go on with examples. The next one comes from a tombstone at Kirby Cemetery in Essex, England, over a hundred years ago.

"When pictures look alive, with movements free; when ships like fishes swim beneath the sea; when men, outstripping birds, can soar the sky; then half the world, deep drenched in blood, SHALL DIE."

Well, anyway, all these are to prove that prophets know what they are talking about. Television, subs, airplanes, could not be imagined in the fifteenth century. It is from these types of prophets that I took the, story of . the King. If they did not prove themselves by astounding prophesies that already came true, I did not use them.
