End Times Mistakes

Richard Salbato 1-5-2007

For over 30 years now I have studied the Bible and Saints prophesies about end times: the rise of kingdoms, wars and rumors of wars, the destruction of Jerusalem, the persecution of the Church and the saints, the partial destruction of the world, the coming of the Antichrist, the two prophets, the so-called rapture, the death of the Antichrist, the Second Coming of Christ, the Second Resurrection, the End of the World, and the New Heavens and Earth.

I have read all the end times books from Hal Lindsey’s “Late Great Planet Earth” many years ago to the “Rapture” today by Protestants, and this has not bothered me.  But today we even have Catholic books full of these same errors about end times.  I can prove these mistakes but just using the saints from Christ until now, but Protestants would not accept that and Catholics will just say they are in error.  So in this essay I will use only the Bible.

What all Protestants and many Catholics expect is a 1000 year rein of Christ on earth, with Satan chained for a 1000 years, an earthly paradise. They also expect to escape the coming chastisements and even the Antichrist’s 3-1/2 year rein of terror by being raptured away before it happens and then return with Christ in His 1000 year earthly rein of peace and prosperity.

When it was only Protestants promulgating these things I though it just ironic and understandable since Protestants are fundamentalists and only accept parts of the bible as important. However, when the Protestant movement, called Pentecostalism or the Charismatic Movement entered the Church and Catholics started praying with Protestants (illegal under Catholic Law), these Protestant errors entered the Catholic Church.

I do believe we are in end times, but to Christ, who said: “This generation will not pass away until all things are accomplished,” everything from the Birth of Christ until the end of the world is considered “this generation” or the last age, the last millennium, the final age, the sixth and last of the days of earth.  Although now over 2000 years, in bible language, this last age is still considered a millennium or long section of time.

The best proof of this is the chaining of Satan, which took place just after the death of Christ on the Cross for the power of Christ’s death limited the power of Satan and gave the Church power to restrain him until the time of the Antichrist, where he will be loosed for a short time.

Satan Chained at the Time of Christ’s Death

2 Thessalonians 2:6 “And now you know what withholds him that he may be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity already works, only that he who now holds does still hold, until he be taken out of the way, and then that wicked one (Antichrist) will be revealed whom the Lord will kill with the spirit of His mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming, him, who coming is according to the workings of Satan, in all power and signs and wonders, and all seduction of iniquity to them that parish, because the received not the love of truth, that they might be saved. Therefore, God will send them the operation of error, to believe lying, that all may be judged who have not believed the truth but have consented to iniquity.”

So you see, according to Saint Paul, Satan is already chained, meaning restricted in his power.

Apocalypse 20:1-5 “And I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.  He cast him into the bottomless pit and shut him up and set a seal on him that he could not seduce the nations until the thousand years were up and that after he would be loosed for a little time.”

We are the age of the nations as you will see later regarding the return and conversion of the Jews by the two prophets. If then, the chaining of Satan happened at the time of Christ’s descent into Hell, we must conclude that the Kingdom of Christ also started at the death of Christ.  In the “Fundamentals of Catholic Dogma by Dr. Ludwig Ott, page 270, one of the names attributed to the Church is “Kingdom of Heaven

The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth

Apocalypse 1:7 “And He has made us a Kingdom, and priests of God and His Father to Him be glory and honor and empire for ever and ever, Amen.

Apocalypse 1-7 “Behold He cometh with the clouds and every eye shall see Him, and they also that pierced Him.  And all the tribes of the earth shall bewail themselves because of Him.  Even so! Amen.”

Apocalypse 1:9  I, John, your brother and partner in tribulation and in the kingdom ---.”

Daniel 2:44 “But in the days of those kingdoms, the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed.”

Matthew 13:  “He put another parable before them, 'The kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed which a man took and sowed in his field. 32 It is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the biggest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air can come and shelter in its branches.' 33 He told them another parable, 'The kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman took and mixed in with three measures of flour till it was leavened all through.'

Matthew 13:24-24 He put another parable before them, 'The kingdom of Heaven may be compared to a man who sowed good seed in his field. 25 While everybody was asleep his enemy came, sowed weeds all among the wheat, and made off.
26 When the new wheat sprouted and ripened, then the weeds appeared as well. 27 The owner's laborers went to him and said, "Sir, was it not good seed that you sowed in your field? If so, where does the weeds come from?"
28 He said to them, "Some enemy has done this." And the laborers said, "Do you want us to go and weed it out?"
29 But he said, "No, because when you weed out the darnel you might pull up the wheat with it. 30 Let them both grow till the harvest; and at harvest time I shall say to the reapers: First collect the weeds and tie it in bundles to be burnt, then gather the wheat into my barn." ' 31

'Explain to us the parable about the weeds in the field.'
37 He said in reply, 'The sower of the good seed is the Son of man. 38 The field is the world; the good seed is the subjects of the kingdom; the weeds, the subjects of the Evil One; 39 the enemy who sowed it, the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; the reapers are the angels.

40 Well, then, just as the weeds are gathered up and burnt in the fire, so it will be at the end of time. 41 The Son of man will send his angels and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of falling and all who do evil, 42 and throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth. 43

Then the upright will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Anyone who has ears should listen! 44

'The kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field which someone has found; he hides it again, goes off in his joy, sells everything he owns and buys the field. 45 'Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls; 46 when he finds one of great value he goes and sells everything he owns and buys it. 47

'Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that is cast in the sea and brings in a haul of all kinds of fish. 48 When it is full, the fishermen bring it ashore; then, sitting down, they collect the good ones in baskets and throw away those that are no use. 49

This is how it will be at the end of time: the angels will appear and separate the wicked from the upright, 50 to throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and grinding of teeth.

So the Kingdom of heaven has to be on this earth and it is not pure at least in appearance because there will be many people in the Church claiming to be members of the Kingdom but just impostors pretending to be wheat but are really weeds sowed by the evil one.  We must not leave out the fact that what makes a Kingdom is that that is where the King is.  Christ is with us in all the Tabernacles thoughout the world in a physical way, the real body, blood, soul and divinity of our King, Jesus Christ.  We are the Kingdom Militant, married to the Kingdom Suffering in Purgatory, and the Kingdom Triumphant where we will all end up if we cooperate with God’s grace and mercy.  We are the Kingdom because the King is with us.

That being the case, where does RAPTURE fit in?  Well, according to Matthew 24 rapture does take place during the Second Coming of Christ and during His appearance in the clouds:

Rapture:

Matthew 24:37-39 “As in the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man be, for as in the days before the flood there were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, even until that day when Noah entered the ark.  They didn’t know until the flood came and took them away, so also shall be the coming of the Son of Man.”

Matthew 24:40-41  Then (after that) two will be in the field and one will be taken and one will be left. Two women will be grinding at the mill and one will be taken and one will be left.”

But wait a moment, Christ does not say that those taken will go up to heaven to be with Christ, and in fact He says just the opposite.

1 Thessalonians 2:16  Then (after that) we who are alive, who are left, will be taken up together with them (the dead) in the clouds to meet Christ in the air, and so will be always with Him.”

Apocalypse 18:7 “And it was given to him (Antichrist) power to make war with the saints and to overcome them.”

Now I don’t know about you but I do not want to be raptured.  Let us look at what the Bible says.  It says that a rapture will take place at the moment of Christ’s appearing in the sky but it does not say where they go.  It does say that those who do not get raptured will be taken up together with those who are in Purgatory into the air with Christ.

Now let’s look at what is taught from this by the saints.  Those left on earth after the great persecutions of the Antichrist, both good and bad, will see Christ coming in the clouds and with the wave of his hand, those going to hell will disappear (rapture) but those left will be lifted up body and soul into the clouds just before Christ destroys all creation.  See below;

The Second Coming and End of the World

First, Christ will not be walking on this earth ever again, so don’t let anyone convince you of this.

Matthew 24:26-27 “If therefore they will tell you: ‘Behold He is in the desert, go not out or behold He is in the closets believe it not, for as the lightening comes from the East and appears even to the west so shall also be the coming of the son of Man.  (Don’t believe he will be walking on the earth, but when he comes all will see him in the clouds.)

Matthew 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days, (days of the Antichrist)   the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give her light, the stars shall fall from the heavens and the powers of the heavens shall be moved.  And then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in Heaven and all the tribes of the earth will morn and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with much power and majesty and He will send his angels with a trumpet and a great voice and they will gather together His elect …”

So you see that those who are left after the “rapture” will be taken up to be with Christ in the heavens.

Acts 1:9-11 “When he had said this, as they were looking on, he was lifted up, and a cloud took him from their sight. While they were looking intently at the sky as he was going, suddenly two men dressed in white garments stood beside them. They said men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking at the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will return in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”

1 Thessalonians 2:16  “Then we who are alive, who are left, will be taken up together with them (the dead in Pergatory) in the clouds to meet Christ in the air, and so will be always with Him.”

2 Peter 1:10 “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief, with great violence, and the elements will be melted with heat and the works which are in it, will be burnt up.”

The Second Coming of Christ and the end of the world are one and the same thing.  No place in the bible will you find Christ setting his foot on the earth again, but some might point out Zacharias 14:4 “And his feet will stand in that day on the Mount of Olives”.  But if you read Zacharias in context this happened at the time of the Crucifixion.  For proof if this see “in that day” in Zacharias 12:3,12:6,12:8,12:9,12:11 and 13:2, all being the same day as 14:4.

Matthew 24:5 “For many will come in my name saying, I am Christ, and they will seduce many. … Many false prophets will come and seduce many.”

The end is not soon.

All this is meaningless to those of us who are adults already because it is not even possible for the Second Coming of Christ to happen in our lifetimes, and in fact not at least for a long time from now.  Because there are many things that have to happen first, and the easiest of these things to prove is the Antichrist.  But before getting into this, I must say that I will not even live to see the Antichrist.

Antichrist Must Come First

2 Thessalonians 2:2 “Do not be easily moved from your common sense, nor be terrified, or by spirit or word or epistle, as sent from us, as if the day of the Lord were at hand.  Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes (and is lifted up above all that is called God” or that is worshipped, so that he sits in the temple of God, showing himself as if he were God.”

What Paul means here by “epistle” is that in his first Epistle to the Thessalonians many misunderstood him and thought that Christ was coming very soon.  Paul is explaining one fact and that is that the Antichrist must come first, so if people are claiming to be Christ before this, then they must be the Antichrist or a type of Antichrist.

John 5:43 "I came in the name of my Father, and yet you did not accept me. But, there will be another who will come in his own name, and you will accept him". (The Jews will be the first to accept the Antichrist.)

Apocalypse 13:1 “And I saw a beast (Antichrist) come up out of the sea (human race). … And the dragon (Satan) gave him great power.”

Apocalypse 13:16 “And he will make all, both little and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to have the character, or the name of the beast, on their right hand and their forehead.”

This will not be a chip or any computer card, it will be tattoos or a branding.  The 666 mark is nothing more that Emperor, since at the time he will be Emperor of the world.  Remember that Satan claimed to be the ruler of nations when he tempted Christ in the wilderness and Christ did not contradict this claim.

Enoch and Elisa will return to convert the Jews

Two other things must happen before the Second Coming and end of the world.  The two prophets must come and the Jews must be converted to Christ.

Malachias 4:5 “Behold I will send you Elias the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.  And he will turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to the fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with anathema.”

Matthew 17:11 “Elias indeed shall come and restore all things.”

Apocalypse 11:3-14 (before the seventh angel 11:15) “But I shall send my two witnesses to prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, wearing sackcloth. (3-1/2 years during the same 3-1/2 years of the Antichrist) 4 These are the two olive trees and the two lamps in attendance on the Lord of the world.

5 Fire comes from their mouths and consumes their enemies if anyone tries to harm them; and anyone who tries to harm them will certainly be killed in this way. 6 They have the power to lock up the sky so that it does not rain as long as they are prophesying; they have the power to turn water into blood and strike the whole world with any plague as often as they like.

7 When they have completed their witnessing, the beast (Antichrist) that comes out of the Abyss is going to make war on them and overcome them and kill them. 8 Their corpses lie in the main street of the great city known by the symbolic names Sodom and Egypt (Jerusalem), in which their Lord was crucified.

9 People of every race, tribe, language and nation stare at their corpses, for three-and-a-half days, not letting them be buried, 10 and the people of the world are glad about it and celebrate the event by giving presents to each other, because these two prophets have been a plague to the people of the world.'

11 After the three-and-a-half days, God breathed life into them and they stood up on their feet, and everybody who saw it happen was terrified; 12 then I heard a loud voice from heaven say to them, 'Come up here,' and while their enemies were watching, they went up to heaven in a cloud.”

Apocalypse 11:3 "I will send my two witnesses to prophecy for those 1260 days." (3-1/2 years)

The exact time of this absolute reign will be three and one half years. (Rev.13:5, Dan.12:7, Dan 12:11, Rev. 11:3 Rev. 12:6) Elijah may then unearth the lost Ark of the Covenant. (2 Maccabees 2:7)

The Jews will be converted

"Jerusalem must be trodden underfoot until the age of the Gentiles is completely over." Luke: 21:24

"That will be a day dark with cloud, the end of an epoch for the nations." Ezekiel 30:3

"God did not spare the natural branches, (the Jews), from the consequences of their unbelief, nor will he spare you. Do not forget that God is severe - as well as kind. He was severe to the Jews who chose to disbelieve while he showed great compassion to you, but only for as long as he chooses! Otherwise, you will find yourselves cut off too, and the Jews ... will be grafted back in your place." Romans: 11:23

"Because of the sins of unbelief of the Jews, the fullness of salvation was passed to the Gentiles; however, because of the loss of the faith and the sins of the Gentile nations, it will come to pass that the salvation of God will be restored for the Jews." -- St. Jerome

"St. Paul says that after the fullness of the gospel has been given to the Gentiles, and the age of the inheritance of their redemption is complete, then the Jews will be converted by the power of God himself and all of Israel will enter into the fullness of Christian salvation."  St. John Chrysostom on Romans 11:11.

The Great Chastisement is not Christ’s Second Coming

Now considering that we are not near the time of the end of the world, or even near the time of the Antichrist, what is happening now that makes everyone think of end times?  It is quite obvious that something is about to happen to the whole world, but what is it if not the time of the Antichrist or the end of the world?

Matthew 24:21 “For there will be great tribulations, which have not been from the beginning of the world until now, nor will be after.  22 And unless those days were shortened no flesh would be saved but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. 23 Then (after that) if any man say to you: “Lo there is Christ, or there, do not believe him.  For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets and shall show great signs and wonders insomuch as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.”

Now read that again.  It says the greatest tribulations in the history of the world will come on all mankind, but it will not be the end of the world (for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened).  The elect will be here during the tribulations, and not raptured.  Then, even after that, if people say that Christ is here or coming, do not believe it, even if he (or they) perform miracles.

Ezechiel 29:1-11 The Great War is part of the great chastisement but not the time of the Antichrist, as you can see in Ezechiel’s description of the time after the great war.

Ezechiel 29:12-15 “And the house of Israel will bury them for seven months.  And all the people of the land will bury them and it will be a noted day, said the Lord God.  And they will appoint men to go continually about the land to bury and to seek out them that were remaining on the face of the earth that they many cleanse it, and after seven months they will begin to seek.  And they will go about passing through the land and when they shall see the bone of a man they will set up a sign by it until the buriers bury it in the valley of the multitude of God.”

Now read this again also.  Seven months after the Great War, the people left on earth will go around the entire world seeking out those who they might find alive.  Why wait seven months?  Then the people will send out another group of people to mark the places where they find the dead but not bury them.  After that another group of people will bury the dead.  The only explanation I can come up with on this is nuclear radiation.

"If those days had not been shortened - no one would have survived! But, those days will be shortened for the sake of the elect." (Matt. 24:22)  The fact that the elect survive proves it is not the end of the world.

"There will come upon the world a period of distress unparalleled since nations first came into existence." (Dan 12:1)

This shows that this period will be worse than the flood and cover the entire world. Worse, in the sense that more people will die, but we have more people on earth now so that does not mean that it will cover the entire world.

Apocalypse 10:1-10 "Then, I saw another powerful angel coming down from heaven, wrapped in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were pillars of fire. In his hand he had a small scroll unrolled; he put his right foot in the sea and his left foot on the land. He shouted so loud that it was like a lion roaring! As he did this, seven awesome claps of thunder resounded from heaven. I was preparing to write down the meaning of the seven thunders, but a voice from heaven stopped me! It said: "Seal up the meaning of the seven thunders! Do not write them down!" Then, the angel that I had seen standing in the sea and on the land, raised his right hand to heaven, and swore by the One who lives for ever and ever, who made the heavens and the earth and all that they contain:

"The time of waiting is over! When the seventh angel sounds his trumpet, THE SECRET INTENTION OF GOD will be fulfilled, just as he announced in the Good News told to his servants the prophets."

Then I was told to take the scroll out of the hand of the angel standing in the sea and on the land. He said: "Take the scroll and eat it. In your mouth it will be as sweet as honey, but it will be bitter in your stomach." So I took the scroll from the angels hand and swallowed it. It was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but after I had eaten it my stomach turned sour." (Rev. 10:1-10)

The small scroll means a short period of history.  And this will be the period of peace after the great war or chastisement.  It will be sweet, because the war is over and great peace and prosperity will enter the world for a time.  I believe it will not last more than 40-50 years.  It will be bitter in the stomach because this peace will make faith and virtue grow cold as is always the case when we are not tried by the hardships of life.

The White Horse of the Four Horsemen and the Fourth Beast of Daniel

Some will wonder about the four horsemen of Revelation and the beasts of Daniel.

Apocalypse 6:2 “And I saw, and behold a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow, and there was a crown given to him, and he went forth conquering that he might conquer.”

First let us consider the white horse.  White is considered purity.  He had a bow, which could be a rainbow.  He was given a crown, which usually means rewarded by God.  He went forth conquering does not necessarily make him a bad guy.  Perhaps this guy is a good person sent by God to save us from this Great War?  Something to think about!

Daniel 7:7 “After this I beheld in the vision of the night and lo, a fourth beast, terrible and wonderful, and exceeding strong, it had great teeth of iron, eating and breaking in pieces and treading down the rest with its feet and it was unlike the other beasts which I had seen before it, and it had ten horns.  Out of this beast came forth ten kingdoms and one (the little horn) is the Antichrist.  7:19 “After this I would diligently learn about the fourth beast”, etc.   7:23 “the fourth beast will be the fourth kingdom on earth (Rome).”  7:24 “and the ten horns of the same kingdom will be ten kings and another will come up after them (the Antichrist).”

Now again, I ask why would the fourth beast be called “wonderful” and different from the other beasts.  The beasts are kingdoms and the last of the great kingdoms is Rome. Wonderful and different leads me to believe that this fourth beast might not be bad.  Rome started out good, was bad during the time of the Emperors, and then ended up Catholic after Constantine. A kingdom can be thought of as a way of life or a type of culture, an organized way of life. That being the case, Rome is still with us in Europe and the Americas, where this culture has existed for 2000 years without changing, although it is starting to change now.

This fourth beast may be wonderful in that it saves the world from the Great War.  However, out of this kingdom (and after a period of peace) will come the little horn, which is the Antichrist.

Jerusalem (Not Rome) is the new Babylon

Matthew 23:37 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that killed the prophets and stoned them to death … your house shall be left desolate.”

Apocalypse 18:4 “Go out from her that you may not be partakers of her sins.” 18:24 “In her was found the blood of the saints and all that were slain upon the earth.”

1 Peter 5:13 “The church that is in Babylon, elected together with you, salutes you…”  In this Peter called Rome the new Babylon and it was at the time but as we see in Apocalypse, John called Jerusalem the new Babylon:

Apocalypse 17: 1 “I will show you the great harlot … 5 And upon her forehead a name was written: A mystery; Babylon the great, the mother of the fornications and the abominations of the earth. … I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the beast that carries her (Rome), which has seven heads and ten horns. The beast which you saw, was, and is not, and will come up out of the bottomless pit and go to distruction.  … The seven mountains which the woman sits are the seven kings and the beast is the eighth and of the seventh. … These will hate the harlot and will make her desolate and naked and will eat her flesh and will burn her with fire. … The woman which you saw is the great city (Jerusalem) which has kingdom over all the kings of the earth.”

Ezekiel 16  Son of man, make known to Jerusalem her abominations … trusting in your beauty, you played the harlot because of you renown and prostituted yourself to everyone who came by. … Samara committed not half your sins. … Before your malice is exposed, making you a reproach to the daughters of Syria and all the daughters of Palestine round about you, they that encompass you on all sides. … I will deal with you as you have despised the oath, in breaking the covenant.”

Apocalypse 18 Describes the fall of Jerusalem (Babylon) that took place in 70 AD and John warned the Christians to get out from her before the distruction.  (Rev. 18:4)

Apocalypse 18:24 “In her was found the blood of the prophets and of the saints and of all that were slain upon the earth.”

New Heaven - New Earth – New Jerusalem

What then does it mean that there will come a New Heaven and New Earth, even a New Jerusalem?  This can be understood in two ways.  One at the time of Christ’s birth there was a new earth in that Christ entered into it and married divinity to humanity.  And at the time of Christ’s resurrection there was a New Heaven since the gates of Heaven were open and humans were let in.  The New Heaven and New Earth (in part) occurred with the entrance of Christ among us and Heaven opened to humans.

But there will also be a final marriage of the two Kingdoms of Christ, which will be called the New Heaven and Earth, because the bodies of humans (on the last day) will join the souls of humans in Heaven and it will become a Heaven/Earth place.  Not on this earth but rather in the Heavens, where the Father dwells.

We know this because the heaven (sky, stars, sun and moon) and the earth shall pass away. The heavens shall perish; the elements shall melt with fervent heat. The heavens being on fire shall be dissolved.  They shall pass away with a great noise.  The earth shall be burnt up; it shall be dissolved—the earth shall perish.

Ps 102:25,26- “Of old hast thou laid the foundations of the earth: and the heavens are the world of your hands.  They will perish but you will endure.  Yea, all of them will wax old like a garment, as a vesture will thou change them, and they shall be changed.”

Heb 1:10-12  And, you, Lord, in the beginning has laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the world of you hands.  They will perish, but you remain, and they all will wax old as does a garment and as a estire will you fold them up and they will be changed.”

Isa 51:6 “Lift up your eyes to the heavens and look upon the earth below: for the heavens will vanish away like smoke and the earth will wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein will die in like manner.”

2 Peter 3:10  “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein will be burned up.”

2 Peter 3:12  “Looking for and longing for the coming of the Day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved and the elements will melt with fervent heat.”

2 Peter 3:11 “Seeing that all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you be in all holy conversation and godliness?”

Ps 75:3  The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved.”

Mt 24:35- “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

Mk 13:31 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

Lk 21:33 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.”

Mt 5:18  For verily I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away but not one dot or one tittle of the law will pass until all be fulfilled.”

2 Peter 3:13  Nevertheless, we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.”

Isa 65:17 “For, behold, I creat new heavens and a new earth and the former shall not be remembered not come to mind.”

Isa 66:22 “For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the Lord, so will you seed and you name remain.”

Rev 21:1 “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away and there was no more sea.”

Rev 21:5 “And he that sat upon the throne said, behold I make all things new, and he said to me, write this down for these words are true and faithful.”

Lk 18:30-THE WORLD TO COME LIFE EVERLASTING.

Phil 3:20 "our commonwealth is in heaven, and from it we await our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ"

The Mass is the Continual Sacrifice

Daniel 8:9-14 “And out of them shall come the little horn (The Antichrist) … and it took away from him the continual sacrifice, and cast down the place of sanctuary.  And strength was given to him against the continual sacrifice and he cast down the place of sanctuary.  And strength was given to him against the continual sacrifice because of sins, and truth will be cast down on the ground, and he will do and will prosper. … for 2,300 days.”

Daniel 9:27 “He will confirm the covenant with many in one week and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrifice will fail, and there will be in the temple the abomination of desolation and the desolation will continue to the consummation and the end.”

Daniel 12:11-12 “And from the time when the continual sacrifice will be taken away and the abomination of desolation will be set up, there will be 1,290 days.  Blessed is he that waits and comes to 1,335 days.”

The above is the key to recognizing the Antichrist because he will claim to be Christ and therefore the sacrifice of the Mass will no longer be needed and outlawed.  Daniel says that it is a CONTINUAL SACRIFICE (Daniel 8:11), and that it is this continual sacrifice that the Antichrist will try to do away with. In fact, we will know the Antichrist by his denial of the MASS. "Mass" means "Sacrifice". The sacrifice of the lambs no longer exists and has not existed since 33 A.D when the great curtain was ripped in two from top to bottom.

The only CONTINUAL SACRIFICE in the world for the last two thousand years is the MASS. Daniel calls it continual, and so it is, for as the sun rises over the horizon around this earth, every minute of everyday the Body and Blood of Christ is being offered up to the Father for the sins of the world.

No one knows for sure the end of the world and the Second Coming of Christ but the 45 days different in Daniel 12:11-12 lead one to believe that the end of the world will be 45 days after the death of the Antichrist.

City of God

Apocalypse 21 No Bible scholar has ever given me a good explanation of The City of God coming down out of heaven  (the bride, the tabernacle of God, built with virtues and graces and without any sin) in Rev. 21 but what Mary Agreda says about this in her book City of God has the most logic to me.  She says that the city of God coming down out of Heaven is nothing more or less than the conception of the Virgin Mary. Read it in this light and let me know what you think.
