What is truth?’
Love Truth Above All Else
Over the years
I have come to believe that we must seek the truth with all our heart, our
soul, our intelligence to the best of our ability and then to cling to it and
love it more than our life.
I do not mean
this only in religion and faith, but in all things – science, politics, human relationships,
ourselves, and the way we live our lives. Everything must be honest and that honesty
must be from investigated knowledge. We
cannot cling to and love a truth we are not sure about it or we have accepted knowledge
without an intellectual investigation of the facts.
That being
said, I will now say something that will offend many people, and I come to this
conclusion by reading the speeches of Christ and the Apostles.
I must have
charity to the truth even if it offends my friends, my family, my priest or my
bishop. When I have to pick between
saying nice things to people at the expense of truth, I will be on the side of
truth and not the people.
Never
Compromise Truth
There are two
words I hate: compromise and expediency.
Like the Ten Commandments, not all things are without compromise,
because even in the Ten Commandments, only the fist four are without any
conditions and the others can be modified by the conditions of life or the
situation.
Even though I
spend a great deal of time seeking the total truth on everything of interest to
me, I will never come to the whole truth about anything. The best I can do is know
for sure what is not and what cannot be true.
Only God knows the entire truth as He said to Thomas Aquinas. None the less, God complimented Thomas for
the truth that he found and wrote about.
Kindness
One of the
gifts of the Holy Spirit is “Kindness”.
This is an interesting word to me.
When should we be kind and how do we use this gift? When I look at this the only real time it can
be called “Kindness” is when we are saying or doing something that might be
offensive to others.
If I have to
tell someone that they are doing the wrong thing or I don’t agree with them, it
is at this time a must do it as kind as a can. Sure, I am going to offend them,
but I must do it as gentle and loving as I can.
Tone of voice, facial expressions must show love when expressing what
the Bible calls “Reprimanding the sinner”, which is also a gift of the HS.
The
Sin of Silence
Another aspect
of truth that really hit home to me because God reprimanded me for offending this, came when I read the life of Saint Thomas More. Before reading Saint Thomas More I would
often remain silent when listening to someone spout off about things I knew to
be wrong in religion, science, politics or even gossip about people. I did this because I did not like conflict. When I read about the great Saint’s daughter
coming to visit him in his jail waiting for his execution and tears came to my eyes.
Let me make
this brief.
Thomas was the

daughter came to the jail, she pleaded with her father: “Just
remain silent and the King will let you live and go home and we can be the
loving family we have always been.”
She was crying
and Thomas was crying, knowing the hardships his family would go through but he
said that he could not remain silent, because: “Silence is affirmation!”

truth caused his life and destroyed his family economically.

Over the last
100 years then has been a gradual dumbing down of
people’s ability to think. I think some
of this is deliberate by leaders (example in Attachment 1) and some of it has to
do with the mass amount of entertainment that takes up to Ten Hours a Day of
our time. Little by little people do not
even care what the truth is and is not.
What has
angered me so much is the liberal news media that sounds so much like Pilate
because the of the way they present news.
Regarding truth about global warming, they say the argument is over,
rather than presenting truth, regarding Obama’s birth place they laugh at
anyone asking the question rather than presenting the truth, regarding the
government debt, they say we do not need to worry, rather than presenting any
truth. Even among the people some say
they just don’t care or they never thought about it and don’t want to or they
don’t want to know because if they knew they might have to change.
In my Catholic
Church Bishops hide illegal immigrants and don’t want to hear that this is a
sin. When asked how a homosexual got
through the seminary they will not answer.
Some disobey the Pope on many things but will not answer if
confronted. Most Catholics practice
birth control and if confronted will not even give an answer as to why because no
one can argue against truth. By saying “What
is truth?” they are saying “I don’t care about truth.”
Historical
Violations of Truth
One of the
greatest examples of truth being ignored and people not even caring is the
Sixteenth Amendment, the Revenue Act of 1913, the Income tax amendment of
President Wilson. To pass this act,

Is it any
wonder that most states did not ratify it?
I don’t care if you believe in an income tax or not, doesn’t it bother
you that a president can do something so illegal and 97 years later no one is
questioning it?

Does it bother anyone today
that President Wilson did more to destroy the constitution than anyone else in
history and at a time when communists were taking over the world. He passed the following unconstitutional

first-ever federal progressive income tax in the Revenue Act of 1913 , tolerated the

Who cares? – Obama’s Social Security Number
The
investigators believe Obama needs to explain why he is using a Social Security
number reserved for

We now have a long turn Federal Debt (not counting personal and State
debts) of 130 trillion dollars. What
does that mean? We have over 330 million
people in American and we can divide that into the 130 trillion but what does
that prove. We have only 140 million
people who work and produce. However, a
large percent of that number work for the government and do not produce
wealth. An even larger number of those
people do not pay taxes at all. For

When Ronald Reagan took office after Carter, there was huge unemployment, housing was dead because of 27% interest
rates, and no hope in site. He believed
the only way out of this problem was to create more jobs by making it easier
for business to create them. This is
called Supply- Side Economics, creating a bigger pie. And it worked, however, and this is
important, when he passed the large tax cuts to the economy he postponed them
for two months. Those two months caused
the economy to get worse. My explanation
is important. Business realized that in
two months whatsoever they did would be easier and make more money, so they
just slowed down and did nothing for two months. They waited for the tax cuts. It was Reagan’s biggest
mistake.
Now this is the reason this is so important. No matter who wins the November Elections,
the market will crash in December.
Because taxes will go way up in January, everyone (and I mean everyone)
will take all their profits out in December, because if they wait until January
they will be taxes much more than in December.
This is common sense, which is truth.
Oil Leak and common sense

Considering
that global warming is a lie and even environmentalists say that Cap and Trade
will do nothing for global warming, why does government want it? I know the answer, do you?
If
we put trillions of dollars in alternative energy, it would never get past 7 %
of our needs to even survive. The three
best solutions are electric cars, natural gas cars, bigger
highways. Sugar Cane gas is a great thing but we cannot grow sugar cane and
never will be able.
To
convert all gas stations to natural gas would cost 17 trillion dollars, but we
could convert one every two hundred miles and then all trucks could convert to
natural gas and all homes that use natural gas could have NG cars. Electric cars could charge at home but again
we need stations that have chargers every 100 miles. In the end we need
fossil fuel for the next hundred years and we have all we
need in

Electric power only coal and nuclear will keep up with our needs.
This
is the truth, get used to it. If you do
not agree, do not just say I disagree, but present an argument based on facts.
Ignoring
truth may be peaceful but it will not go away.
In fact truth is a war between good and evil and that war will go on to
the end of the world. Those who hide
from the truth are like the Germans who did not want to know what Hitler was
doing. Their failure to see the truth
did not make it go away and it will catch you and you will not be ready for it.
